How do I close my DraftKings account? (US)

Important Information

DraftKings offers the options to self-exclude and self-limit. If, at any point, you think you're spending too much time or money on DraftKings, you have the option of taking a break from DraftKings entirely. Self-limiting allows you to still play, however, within the parameters that you set for yourself.

Close your DraftKings account

You can decide to close your DraftKings account at any time and for any reason.

How to close your account via the DraftKings app

1. Log into your DraftKings account. 
2. Tap your profile photo in the top left corner.
3. Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
4. From the Settings page, tap Close Account.
5. Complete the closure form and tap Continue.
   • Important: Be sure to withdraw any available funds at this time. Once closed, you won't be able to log into your account. 
6. Re-enter your password and tap Yes, Close My Account.  

How to close your account on a desktop or laptop

1. Log into your DraftKings account. 
2. Click your profile photo in the top right corner and select Account Information.
3. On the left rail, click Login & Security. 
   • Note: On smaller screens the left rail may become a dropdown in the top center of the screen. 
4. Scroll down and click Close Account. 
5. Complete the closure form and click Continue.
   • Important: Be sure to withdraw any available funds at this time. Once closed, you won't be able to log into your account. 
6. Re-enter your password and click Yes, Close My Account. 

How to close your account on mobile web 

1. Log into your DraftKings account. 
2. Tap the Home icon on the bottom rail.
3. Tap your profile photo in the top left corner.
4. Tap Login & Security. 
5. Scroll down and tap Close Account. 
6. Complete the closure form and tap Continue.
   • Important: Be sure to withdraw any available funds at this time. Once closed, you won't be able to log into your account.
7. Re-enter your password and tap Yes, Close My Account.
