DraftKings may offer promotions where boosts* are available for specific events. You can locate these offerings by accessing the DraftKings Sportsbook Promotions page.
Applying Boosts
There are different types of boost offered within Sportsbook: Profit Boosts, Odds Boosts, and Odds Surges. These boosts use a token allowing you to apply the boosted price to a specific bet. Often you’ll need to Opt-In to receive the token. Once opted-in, available boosts can be located on your Rewards page.
To utilize odds boost, profit boost, and odds surge tokens, you'll need to add your selections to the bet slip, and select the boost you want to apply from the Bonus Available section of the bet slip before placing your bet. If your boost doesn't appear on your bet slip following opt in, refresh your page or try opting-in again.

When applied, a profit boost token allows you to increase the potential profit on a specified outcome if the outcome is settled in your favor. The increase to the potential profit varies based on the amount you wager.
To use this type of boost token, you need to:
- Add a qualifying bet to your bet slip.
- Tap the Bonus Available section on the bet slip.
- Select the boost you want to apply.
- Place your bet.
For example, if you bet $10 on the National League at -115 odds and apply a 25% profit boost token to that bet, your bet slip will show the National League at +108 odds with the original -115 odds crossed out. If you win the bet your profits will be boosted from $18.69 to $20.86.
Note: The boost must be selected and applied to your bet slip BEFORE you place your bet. It cannot be applied by you retroactively after the bet was placed.
When applied, an odds boost token enhances the odds of a specific outcome, meaning that your winnings can become bigger for the same outcome should it be settled in your favor. The outcome will appear with its original odds until the boost is applied to your bet slip.
To use this type of boost token, you need to:
- Add a qualifying bet to your bet slip.
- Tap the Bonus Available section on the bet slip.
- Select the boost you want to apply.
- Place your bet.
For example, if you bet $10 on Tiger Woods to finish in the Top 10 at The Open Championship at +550 odds and apply a +1000 odds boost token to that bet, your bet slip will show Tiger Woods at +1000 odds with the original +550 odds crossed out.
Note: The boost must be selected and applied to your bet slip BEFORE you place your bet. It cannot be applied by you retroactively after the bet was placed.
When applied, an odds surge extends the original odds of a specific offering. Your bet will appear with its original odds on your bet slip. Once your odds surge token is selected, the original odds will be crossed out with the extended odds applied.
To use this type of boost token, you need to:
- Add a qualifying bet to your bet slip.
- Tap the Odds Surge section on the bet slip.
- Select the odds surge you want to apply.
- Place your bet.
For example, if there is a +500 Odds Surge offering for the John Deere Classic and you add Adam Hadwin +1000 to your bet slip. Once your odds surge token is selected, your bet slip will show Adam Hadwin +1500 to win the John Deere Classic with the original odds of +1000 crossed out.
Boost Exclusions
- Boosts can only be applied to a single transaction.
- Only one boost may be used on a bet slip.
- Boosts can't be combined with other reward offerings.
- If a bet placed with a boost is cashed out, the boost will not be returned to your account.
- Boost must be applied to a wager prior to its expiration date. Expiration dates are reflected on your bet slip and Rewards page.
- Always review your bet slip prior to submitting any bet. This assists in ensuring that the reward you wish to use is selected and the bet you wish you place is correct.
