How do I temporarily limit my access to DraftKings with a cool off period? (US)

Important Information

• When you successfully set a cool off period, you won't be able to access or use the DraftKings website or apps (Fantasy Sports, Sportsbook, Casino, or Marketplace) until the cool off period you select has passed.

Fantasy Sports

How to set a cool off period via the Fantasy Sports App

1. Log into the DraftKings Fantasy Sports App
2. Tap your profile photo in the top left corner. 
3. Scroll down and tap Close Account.
4. Tap Cool Off.
5. Select a Cooling Off Period, and select the period of time you'd like to cool off for.
6.  Tap Continue.
7. Enter your Password and tap Submit.

How to set a cool off period via desktop or laptop

1. Log into DraftKings. 
2. Click your profile photo and click Account Information from the dropdown that appears. 
3. On the left rail, click Self Exclusion. 
   • Note: If you're accessing from a smaller screen, the left rail may become a dropdown in the center of the screen. 
4. Click the Cool-Off tab to the right of Self Exclusion.
5. Click Cooling Off Period, and select the period of time you'd like to cool off for.
6. Click Continue.
7. Enter your Password and tap Confirm.

How to set a cool off period via mobile web 

1. Log into DraftKings.
2. Tap the three-line Menu icon in the top left corner. 
3. On the left rail, tap the gear Settings icon and tap Account Information from the options that appear. 
4. Tap the dropdown in the center of the screen and tap Self-Exclusion.
5. Tap the Cool-Off tab to the right of Self Exclusion.
6. Tap Cooling Off Period, and select the period of time you'd like to cool off for.
7. Click Continue.
8. Enter your Password and tap Confirm.

Sportsbook and Casino

How to set a cool off period via the Sportsbook and Casino app 

1. Log into the DraftKings Sportsbook or Casino app. 
2. Tap your profile photo in the top left corner. 
3. Scroll down to Responsible Gaming and tap Patron Protection Center. 
4. Tap Cool Off.
5. Select a Cooling Off Period and tap Submit. 
6. Enter your Password and tap Submit. 

How to set a cool off period via desktop or laptop

2. Hover over your profile photo and select Account Information from the dropdown that appears. 
3. On the left rail, click Cool Off.
