How do I get notified if a player is injured?

Player Injury Notifications are push notifications that alert you if a player in your lineup might not play due to an injury status. 

These notifications are sent if all conditions are met: 

1. A player in your lineup changes injury statuses.
2. The player’s new injury status is questionable or more severe. 
3. The injured player is still swappable in your lineup.
4. The lineup is attached to a contest entry. 
5. You’ve enabled push notifications from DraftKings. 

How do I turn notifications on/off ?

To turn on Player Injury Notifications via the app: 

1. Log into the DraftKings Fantasy app. 
2. Tap your profile photo in the top left corner. 
3. Tap Notification Preferences. 
4. From the Category dropdown, select Updates. 
5. Toggle ON/OFF Push Notifications below Player Injury News. 

To turn on Player Injury News via the mobile web: 

1. Log into DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports.
2. Tap the three-line Menu icon in the top left corner. 
3. From the left rail, tap the gear Settings icon and tap Account Information. 
4. Below Email Settings, tap email preferences. 
5. On the Category dropdown, select Updates. 
6. Toggle ON/OFF Push Notifications below Player Injury News. 

To turn on Player Injury News via desktop: 

1.  Log into DraftKings Daily Fantasy Sports.
2. Click your profile photo in the top right corner and select Account Information from the dropdown that appears.
3. On the left rail, select Preferences. 

• Note: On smaller screens, the left rail becomes a dropdown on the top center of the screen. 

In Email Settings, click email preferences. 

On the left rail of Communication Settings, click Daily Fantasy Sports. 

Under Updates, toggle ON/OFF Push Notifications for Player Injury News. 

Note: If you’d like to receive notifications, please ensure notifications are also turned on for the DraftKings app through your phone settings.

What will the Player Injury Notification tell me? 

The notification will tell you the player’s name, their new injury status, and the last possible time you have to swap that player out of your lineup.

Are the notifications available through push and email?

Player Injury Notifications are only available as push notifications at this time. 

Are the notifications available for both iOS and Android users?

Yes.

What sports do notifications work for?

Player Injury Notifications are available for every sport on DraftKings.

Do these notifications also send if a player is not in the starting lineup (i.e. for baseball or soccer)?

These notifications are only for injury statuses and aren’t dependent on lineup position.
